2022 our international DesignBuild Summerschool took place in the context of our conference „you promised me a city", for which we cooperated with the Institute of Design and Urban Planning at the Leibniz University of Hanover, the Slovak University of Technology – Faculty of Architecture and Design in Bratislava/Slovakia and the School of Architecture – National Technical University of Athens in Athens/Greece. Students from the three universities identified productive urban dissonances during the summer semester of 2021 and explored them through architectural interventions in the field of tension between language and architecture on site in Hanover in the week before the conference. This publication summarizes the process and results of the various design drafts implemented in the urban space. (Because the projects turned out so nice, there will be an extra post about those!) Thanks for the cooperation and trust to the teachers from our partner universities: The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and the School of Architecture in Athens. And especially we would like to thank Hanna Noller, with whom we thought up and implemented the Summerschool – best possible partner in crime!
