A design is being developed through a participation process and the active collaboration of the users. The basis of the design is a structural composition of the upper main street in the city center of Rottweil with the black gate, the bronze figure of a Rottweiler as a landmark of the city, as well as a striking fountain with an adjacent landing. This can be found as a reference in the design, as well as the opening of the city into the hilly landscape. Eddystone beacons were installed as interactive elements, which invite all users of the facility via Bluetooth to share their videos and photos of use on their own app. The skate club Rollbrett-Rottweil e.V. takes care of the app and is thus integrated into the operation of the facility.

The modern skatepark finally gives the scene a place of cohesion. The interactive beacons are something completely new in the skatepark world and can bind the users even further to their place.
