In preparation for the competition for the planned new building of the HONSWERKSTATT on the Honsberg in Remscheid, we held a two-day editorial workshop in October 2021 with the participation of key players and future partners in the project. Together, we radically speculated into the future, specifically into April 2027. Our goal was to jointly develop a monthly program as it would ideally take place in the HONSWERKSTATT to be built. In this way, program content for this future April was created on the first day. On the second day, these contents were then transferred to speculative spaces – according to very similar premises. The focus of the consideration wasn't on concrete equipment, structural-physical conditions, material and size of the future rooms. Instead, a good overview of the atmospheric requirements of the rooms to be built can be found here. The guide on the right side of the booklet cover helps to understand the graphics. In the middle of the booklet there is an overall calendar overview and at the end an artistic-analytical summary.
