The main challenge coming up with a good design for Dietenbachark phase 2 was properly link to phase 1 and bolster its shortcomings.
It was very important to us to really tab into the local skaters' ideas – especially those with bad experiences from the phase one planning – and get them thoroughly involved.
The mission was to pick up on and enhance phase one's well-intentioned bits and create a full park covering all bases, adding everything that's been missing. Planned for phase 2 is a pretty exact, mirrored replica of Arto Saari's bowl, small stair sections enclosed by banked sections, multiple curb, ledge and manual variations, a DSS-fence-ride, a beginners miniramp, plus much more … of course all fine-tuned with flow in the back of our heads.

Extensive, multi-stage workshops in close collaboration with the council and the local skateboard association.
