A skate park was to be planned on a seemingly nowhere area. That this should not be an isolated alien on the wasteland of a former shipyard was immediately clear to Endboss. So the integration of the surrounding area into the skatepark and the demands of the local future users was a big and at the same time narrow frame.

So: planning according to HOAI, the association ISBIB was involved in the planning process by means of 2 workshop, prelude and presentation plans including virtual reality.

With real harbor bollards it behaves like with icebergs: They have a much bigger foundation foot than you think.

The skatepark is located on a former shipyard site where the contaminated soil was remediated and could not be touched during construction.

As unrelated as the place may seem at first, every m2 of earth surface has its own character. If we learn to read and understand it, our work brings a change to the place that corresponds to the character and enters into dialogue with it.

It adds an exciting unique place to the collection of skate parks in Bremerhaven and is an enrichment for the residential neighborhood that will grow in this place in the future.
