Lennie grew up in the countryside in the region of Hanover, Germany, where he started early, as a performer in his parents' theater, to climb the one kind of "boards that mean the world" (sorry, this seems to be a german phrase). Later, between 2000 and 2005, he appeared in various commercials and film productions in Berlin, some with well-known casts. His acting breakthrough came with "Bungalow" by Ulrich Köhler, for which he even won international awards. But because he disliked the "doing the rounds" at castings, he turned to another board, which also means the world to him: The skateboard. And also with that he made it pretty far and traveled from 1998-2018 as a professional for various sponsors (including Nike, Cleptomanix and Radio Skateboard) around the world, for example to New York, Tokyo, New York Cape Town and Kuala Lumpur. Photos from his active time can be found in over 200 issues of various skateboard magazines. So googling Lennie is worthwhile …
And because Lennie obviously doesn't do things by halves, he already planned and built his first ramps at the age of 13 and – how could it be otherwise? – and has been part of the DIY skate movement since the very beginning. As a self-taught skater, he has acquired extensive knowledge in wood construction, concrete construction, design work and visualization and one or the other urban space. He also holds a diploma from Street Uni (with a foreign assignment) in Streetsmarts and Sports Nerdtum. At endboss he takes care of skatepark planning, logically enough, and churns out designs with high frequency that are celebrated nationally and internationally.
